Book Fair 2018
A group of enthusiastic Year 6 children have proved to be true ‘Reading Stars’!
The children helped to organise the school’s Scholastic book fair which raised an impressive £527 commission to spend on new books for the school library! The Reading Stars regularly organise activities at the school, promoting reading, as well as supporting younger children with their reading each week. The children have volunteered to champion reading throughout the school and share their enthusiasm for books – clearly they have been successful, as the school’s book fair sold a huge amount of books!
The Reading Stars can be seen here with a selection of some of the books they have chosen to purchase for the school library, using the £527 commission they raised from sales at the book fair.
