Children's Parliament 2024
We are very proud of our Children's Parliament team who came first in the Somerset Children's Parliament competition! The children presented an engaging talk to the judges about their road safety project which has had such a positive impact on the safety of the local community.
The children have been busy organising a poster competition in school. They managed to secure funding from the PTA to get the winning posters professionally printed onto A2 signs which have been displayed around the village near to the school, encouraging motorists to slow down and to park safely. They even knocked on doors and persuaded the neighbours to support their campaign, with every resident who they spoke to, agreeing that the signs were a great idea and could be displayed outside their properties. What fantastic ambassadors for the school - well done team!
